If you sync your iPad to your Mac or PC in iTunes, you can easily transfer documents from your Mac/PC to your iPad. (You do not have to have the iPad connected to the Mac/PC to do this… if it is set up properly in iTunes. Under iTunes your screen might look like the following picture. Click on the iPad icon toward the top left.
Select the name of your iPad in the pop-up window.
