Corey's Woodworking Projects
My career in Custom Woodworking began in 1992 when I graduated from High School and my parents gave me a table saw for graduation. My Mom first commissioned me to build her a nightstand. Then I built them their dresser and headboard. Finding a wordworking place to work for here in Rapid City, however, was not an easy task. I first worked as an apprentice for Rick Walter at the Iron Mountain Woodshop from 1992 - 1993. Rick hired me full time in 1993. In 1996 Rick sold the Iron Mountain Woodshop (now Smokin' Joes) and I went to work for Anderson Millworks until 1998. In 1998 I went to work for Bill's Custom Woodworking. In June 2001 I started my own shop, Corey's Custom Woodworking and work with Bill.

I live in Box Elder with my friend, Kathy Connors, Dillon Connors, Taryn Connors, Koen my son, and Vinnie. I spend some of my free time at my parent's working on various projects.

Oh yes! The greatest news, I became a Dad May 21, 2006! His name is Koen. Mom is really excited as she will have a grandchild near them. I keep saying, it's going to be different. I'm adapting. :)
