Food for Thought

Recently I received an email from Linda Ellis, author of "The Dash". This was the poem I had here, under Food For Thought. I had no idea it was copyrighted, nor who the author was, but I am so grateful she let me know of the copyright infringement.

The majority of poems and sayings I have on the website are from workshops I have attended. I have asked permission to use these items. However, there are those, like The Dash, where no information was known. Next time I will know better and check the Library of Congress. No matter how much you want others to see something so powerful, it's best not to share the item until you find out for certain who the poem might belong to, and ask permission to use it.
