Welcome to a beautiful New Year at Blue Willow Heaven. I am anxious to see what this 2008 year brings and I am so thankful for my wonderful family! God has truly blessed Rick and I. Blue is one of my favorite colors. In particular, the light Blue Willow color. Blue is calming, and some say it's believed to keep away the bad spirits. All I know is, walk into our kitchen and dining area, and it's totally Blue Willow. Blue Willow reminds me of what I think Heaven is like. It reminds me of peace, love, and happiness. We eat on these lovely blue willow dishes, daily. Soon, however, our entire kitchen will be gutted and renovated. Our master craftsman son, Corey, and his partner, Bill, of Bill's Custom Woodworking, will be doing the renovating. I am excited as I can finally start using my older Copeland Blue Willow. To think we will actually have our first NEW kitchen! It has been started 10/29/08. Let's see how long it takes. Check out my Blue Willow Antique Clock! I believe it was called a "Plush clock" many years ago. The back of the clock looks ancient! For more about antique clocks, visit The Antique Clocks Shop. Also check out The Macintock created by Corey Spoolman (Corey's Custom Woodworking) Recently I was notified about a new Alarm Clock site. I love it! Unbelievable how many different clocks there are. Time.... what do we do with our time? Check out the new clock site. Most of you have seen my new office makeover. If not, don't be too shocked. :) I was looking for abstract art for my lovely room. I found it! The artist is Kathy Foster. This is a watercolor that pulls the colors of my room together. Our Neok is doing well. Hard to imagine he has been with us since December 6, 2007. Neok is quite content in his mac home. Both girls, Katie and Cassie are fine. As are the boys, Cedric and Casey. Just think! Cedric and Casey are now 6 years old. They love sitting on their platform each evening and look outside just before bedtime. Want to know more about your Mac? Tune in where they are categorized and watch the video podcasts! Or go directly to the very first one and click on Next when done with the podcast. Do you like to cook? Come on in and learn a bit about how I cook, The Saladmaster Way. Sometime ago I joined a new recipe group at http://grouprecipes.com. It's a lot of fun and there are so many new recipes to test out! |
